Audacy Celebrates Women at 4th Annual Leading Ladies

Kelsea Ballerini, Meghan Trainor, Elle King, Christina Perri and Rachel Platten were the definition of women supporting women as they shared the stage alternating between acoustic performances and personal stories, giving the audience an intimate sense of camaraderie instead of five solo artists.

Hosted by Audacy’s Katie Neal and NEW 102.7’s (WNEW-FM) Karen Carson, the event epitomizes female empowerment and the important place women have in the world.

“Leading Ladies reminds us of the power of solidarity among women. Together, through music and shared stories, we celebrate our diversity, amplify our voices, and pave the way for a more equitable and inclusive future,” said Susan Larkin, Chief Operating Officer, Audacy

Rachel Platten started the night performing her new song, “Bad Thoughts.” She was joined on stage by Christina Perri, who shared how she‘s encouraging her daughter to embrace being a woman.

Later in the night, Elle King, Meghan Trainor and Kelsea Ballerini shared the stage performing some of their hit songs, including King’s “Drunk (And I Don’t Wanna Go Home)” and Trainor’s “Like I’m Gonna Lose You,” as well as classic covers like Ballerini’s rendition of Fleetwood Mac’s “Dreams.”

Additional Leading Ladies sponsors included New Jersey Division of Travel & Tourism, Slomin’s Home Security and Key Food Stores Co-operative, Inc.
