A 27-year-old man, Quinn Fabroni, was tragically killed in a wrong-way crash on the Kennedy Expressway early Wednesday morning. The Illinois State Police reported that the suspect, 21-year-old Makayla Hester of Chicago, was driving her Volkswagen in the wrong direction near Cumberland when she collided with Fabroni’s Honda.

Quinn Fabroni was a beloved coach at Fleckās Personal Training in Arlington Heights, where he was heading to work for his 5 a.m. class at the time of the accident. Fabroni was known for his positive and bubbly personality, often greeting clients with air high-fives and shouts of encouragement. He had built strong relationships with his clients, many of whom he saw daily, impacting around 130 people each day.

The sudden and shocking death of Fabroni has left his immediate family, friends, and the gym community in mourning. Tyler Bulger, a coworker and close friend, mentioned that Fabroni was set to be a groomsman in his upcoming wedding. The gym, which had been closed for a few days following the incident, is set to reopen tomorrow.
