The National Black Radio Hall of Fame, a vital institution to celebrating and honoring the impactful contributions of Black personalities in the radio industry, is thrilled to announce that nominations for its class are now officially open.

Headquartered in , MO, at Harris-Stowe State University's Vashon Center, the National Black Radio Hall of Fame continues its legacy of recognizing the achievements of Black radio professionals. Founded by Bernie Hayes, a trailblazer who began his radio in 1950, the Hall of Fame serves as a beacon of and appreciation for Black radio's rich history and profound influence on the industry.

This year, the National Black Radio Hall of Fame is proud to introduce a new category: the Mitch Faulkner Radio Imaging/Production Award, celebrating excellence in radio imaging and production. This category acknowledges the behind-the-scenes professionals whose work shapes the sound and identity of radio stations nationwide.

The Class of 2025 Induction Ceremonies will occur on September 19 and 20, 2025, in St. Louis, Missouri. This prestigious event will celebrate the trailblazers and visionaries whose contributions have shaped the of radio.
