Today, Cardboard Sessions releases episode #23 featuring “Coming Home” by Marcus King. This is the second session of four from Marcus which marks the first time Cardboard Sessions has released multiple tracks from one artist over the course of a month.
“F*ck My Life Up Again” came first on March 20 and “Save Me” will be released April 3 with the series culminating with “Delilah” on April 19. Some of the tracks to be featured on Cardboard Sessions come from Marcus’s upcoming album Mood Swings due out April 5.
The session was recorded at Henson Studios with recording engineer Chad Shlosser on September 25, 2023.

Cardboard Sessions (a collaboration between Signal Snowboards and Ernest Packaging) is a free-form video series that brings musicians together to play instruments built and designed by the creators of Cardboard Chaos, where progressive concept ideas in sports and music are crafted from cardboard.
A creative exploration of the love of music and the chance to hear something original with no rehearsal, no plan, and no rules.
Artists who have had the opportunity to play the cardboard creations in past sessions include ZZ Top’s Billy Gibbons, J Mascis, Matt Sorum, Terry Reid, Preservation Hall All-Star Band, LP, Dogstar, and more.
