According to the police, the 43-year-old homeowner was in front of his house on West Wrightwood Avenue when the three men, aged 29, 22, and 55, allegedly began assaulting him. The victim, who holds a concealed carry license, responded by shooting the attackers.

All three men who were shot are currently in critical condition. The homeowner also sustained injuries from blunt force and is in critical condition as well.
