Severe Flooding in Cobb County Neighborhood
A Cobb County neighborhood experienced significant flooding, leading to the displacement of nearly 20 residents. The flooding occurred in a cul-de-sac, with many residents inside their homes at the time.

Impact on Residents
Some residents were able to move their vehicles, but many were caught off guard and had to be rescued. Robin, a resident, described how firefighters saved her family. In total, 19 residents were displaced, with 12 rescued directly by fire crews.
Damage to Homes and Vehicles
Residents left behind significant damage. Robin reported that her home was half-flooded, ruining all her furniture. Samuel Holder, another resident, lost his vehicle to the floodwaters.
Community Concerns and Assistance
Residents are concerned about how this flooding happened, especially since some have experienced flooding before. The Red Cross is on-site assisting those displaced, and local departments are involved in recovery efforts.
