The Bronx: Shooting at McDonald’s

Two boys, aged 12 and 13, were injured in a shooting at a McDonald’s in the Allerton section of the Bronx. The boys were targeted and shot by a man dressed in black. The 12-year-old was shot in the back and thigh, while the 13-year-old was shot in the leg. Both are expected to recover, and the suspect remains at large.

Kevin Young, 38, has been charged with first-degree manslaughter for allegedly stabbing a 55-year-old man to death near Times Square. The incident occurred inside a building on West 43rd Street. The victim was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he later died.

Owner Brett Sensit was tricked into wiring money to cyber thieves who posed as the restaurant’s payroll company. The scam involved a fraudulent email address that was off by one letter from the legitimate address.

Daniel Tamasi, from Shirley, Long Island, was arrested for stabbing James Burns of Edgewater, Florida, at Adventureland amusement park. The incident occurred on Sunday, with Tamasi charged with multiple counts of assault and weapon possession. Burns is in critical condition.

Port Jefferson: Illegal Fireworks Accident

An illegal fireworks display in Port Jefferson resulted in four people being hospitalized, including an 8-year-old in the ICU. The incident caused various injuries, including burns and a severed finger. Local police are investigating, and arrests are expected in connection with the fireworks display.
