Cumulus Media's DFW Country Stations New Country 96.3 and 99.5 The Wolf Team Up to Raise $1,071,096 for Fort Worth's Cook Children's, a Children's Miracle Network Hospital

2023 marks the tenth Cook Children's Radiothon broadcast for KSCS and the fourth Cook Children's Radiothon broadcast for KPLX. Cumulus Dallas/Fort Worth has raised more than $4,550,000 for the Children's Miracle Network Hospital during their nine-year partnership.

For this year's radiothon simulcast, the two stations created a satellite studio in the Cumulus Dallas/Fort Worth conference room with the on-air talent broadcasting from a round table setup, creating a unique on-air experience where eight personalities broadcast live together for the entire 26-hour event. The stations used video streaming platforms to interview hospital patients, their families, and hospital staff during the broadcast. The stations also maximized their robust social media platforms to drive additional donations by the entire two-day broadcast on both stations' Facebook pages.

Mike Preston, Program Director, New Country 96.3 and 99.5 The Wolf, said: “Combine two of America's most listened-to Country stations working toward one mission and this is what you get: the DFW community responding to support one of its most cheri million-dollar effort!”

All funds raised will be used to fund the areas where the need is greatest at Cook Children's. This includes, but is not limited to, the daily care of patients and their families, enhancement of programs, and investing in innovative equipment that is up to date with the latest advances in medicine and technology.

Cook Children's Radiothon was presented by EECU. The phone bank was sponsored by CornerStone Staffing and CornerStone Medical. Other supportive businesses include Cutting Edge Haunted House, Albertson's, Tom Thumb, Dave & Busters, Freeman Toyota, Sam Pack Auto Group, IHOP, Ronald McDonald House and Nashville.
