Intrusion and Initial Attack
On Thursday at approximately 5:30 p.m., a stranger entered the home of Bobby Tucker and attacked his children. The intruder, described as screaming and growling, first assaulted Tucker’s 14-year-old son from behind, choking him to the ground, and then moved on to his 11-year-old son.
Father’s Response
Bobby Tucker, a security guard, was in the back of the house with his youngest son when he heard the commotion. Upon seeing the intruder attacking his 11-year-old son, Tucker intervened and repeatedly struck the intruder until he was incapacitated. Tucker’s children called 911 during the incident.
Police Intervention
Citrus Heights police responded within five minutes and took the intruder into custody. The suspect was found unresponsive and was transported on a stretcher. His identity has not been released, and it is unclear whether he was under the influence of drugs or had mental health issues.
