On the evening of Monday, March 18, the feature film “First Time Female Director” had a special screening at Vidiots in Los Angeles.
The friends and family affair was attended by the first-time female director herself, Chelsea Peretti, along with the funniest names in Hollywood, including Amy Poehler (who is also a producer for the film), Brandon Scott, Brett Goldstein, Dylan Mulvaney, Fred Armisen, Geraldine Viswanathan, Jack McBrayer, Jacqueline Novak, Jeanette McCurdy, Joe La Trulio, Jojo T. Gibbs, Lil Rel Howery, Mae Martin, Melissa Fumero, Nia Vardalos, Nick Kroll, Nicole Byer, Paul Scheer, Paul W. Downs, Sarah Silverman, Stephanie Beatriz, YassirLester, and Zoe Lister Jones. Ahead of the screening, guests savored delicious bites generously provided by Shake Shack and hydrated responsibly thanks to VOSS Water.
Immediately following the film, there was an endearing cast reunion in the form of a Q&A conversation with Peretti alongside Benito Skinner, Kate Berlant, Blake Anderson, Max Greenfield, Xosha Roquemore, and Andy Richter; moderated by fellow cast member, Numa Perrier.
