DJ Cassidy’s “Pass the Mic Live!” is set to return to the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ, on May 11th as part of the annual “Mother’s Day Good Music Festival” presented by SJ. The event, a follow-up to last year’s successful inaugural show, will feature a lineup of iconic Hip Hop and R&B artists including Boyz II Men, TLC, Bobby Brown, Method Man & Redman, Faith Evans, Total, and surprise guests.
This live concert experience, which sold out its first arena show at the Prudential Center with 13,000 attendees, is part of DJ Cassidy’s broader vision to bring his unique musical celebration to a live audience. Cassidy’s “Pass The Mic” series, initially a living room project, grew into a televised series on BET and has featured over 220 legendary artists across five decades.
Tickets for the event will be available with an American Express® presale on January 31st and February 1st, a promoter presale on February 1st, and general sale starting February 2nd via Ticketmaster.
The inaugural “Pass The Mic Live!” showcased performances by artists like Ashanti, Fabolous, Ja Rule, and Lil Kim, and the second installment at Radio City Music Hall featured New York Hip Hop legends.
