iHeartMedia & Barbie Partner for “Best Week Ever”

iHeartMedia, the No. 1 audio company in the United States, today announced a broadcast and digital partnership with Warner Bros. Pictures to celebrate the release of Barbie, the upcoming movie starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling as Barbie and Ken. The five-day “Barbie’s Best Week Ever” campaign kicks off on July 17 and includes a “New Music Friday” feature on BARBIE THE ALBUM, the star-studded Barbie soundtrack in partnership with Atlantic Records.

Barbie’s Best Week Ever” will run from July 17-21, with iHeartMedia talent leading a week of Barbie coverage across stations nationwide. To set the tone, iHeart’s iconic logo will flip to Barbie Pink across all digital platforms, and iHeartRadio’s national shows – “On Air with Ryan Seacrest,” “The Elvis Duran Morning Show,” “On Air with Mario,” “Way Up with Angela Yee” and “JohnJay & Rich” – will immerse audiences into the world of Barbie with daily themes ranging from Barbie-inspired fashion and trivia to “Kenergy” and a spotlight on Barbie’s cultural impact. Each day will feature ways for listeners to get involved through cash giveaways, Barbie-themed prizes, ticket giveaways and more. Local LA Station KIIS FM will also be hosting an advance Barbie screening for their winners on July 18.

Barbie’s Best Week Ever” wraps up on July 21, the movie’s release day, with a “New Music Friday” feature on BARBIE THE ALBUM, featuring Ava Max, Billie Eilish, Charli XCX, Dominic Fike, Dua Lipa, FIFTY FIFTY, Gayle, Haim, Ice Spice, Karol G, Khalid, The Kid Laroi, Lizzo, Nicki Minaj, PinkPantheress, Sam Smith, Tame Impala and more. Promos for the music will run across more than 140 stations featuring different songs form the soundtrack.

Leading up to “Barbie’s Best Week Ever,” iHeartMedia also highlighted the movie’s soundtrack with a World Premiere debut for Dua Lipa’s “Dance the Night” on May 25 and May 26, and a “New Music Friday” feature for Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice’s “Barbie World” on June 23. Charli XCX’s “Speed Drive” and FIFTY FIFTY’s “Barbie Dreams” also received digital support with over 130 local station websites running articles on the releases.
