iHeartMedia Milwaukee’s FM106.1 and iHeartMedia Madison’s 96.3 Star Country teamed up for the third consecutive year for the “Wisconsin Cares for St Jude Kids Radiothon.” Together, they raised over $272,000 to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, the leading children’s hospital pioneering research and treatments for kids with cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
The “Wisconsin Cares for St. Jude Kids Radiothon” featured FM106.1’s on-air personalities Scott Dolphin, Shannen Oesterreich, Shanna Cudeck and Hannah Kultgen along, with 96.3 Star Country’s Chelsey Steinhauer who encouraged listeners to donate on-air and online on Thursday, December 7 and Friday, December 8, 2023.
“St. Jude is near and dear to our hearts in both Milwaukee and Madison, so it was an amazing thing to see both stations and our listeners come together for the cause,” said Shanna, Program Director for FM106.1.
“Hopefully one day, we won’t have to host a radiothon because we’ve found a cure with the help of our listeners,” added Chelsey Steinhauer, Program Director for 96.3 Star Country.
