iHeartMedia Philadelphia’s ALT 104.5, Philadelphia’s Alternative, announces veteran radio personality Jaxon will host “Post-Modern Radio, 104.5,” a throwback show airing weekdays 12 – 1 p.m.

“Post-Modern Radio” is a destination for enthusiasts of Philadelphia’s rich alternative music heritage and will showcase Jaxon’s knowledge and passion for this iconic moment in music from the late 80s through the early 2000s. Listeners can expect a curated playlist peppered with artist stories and an exploration of the socio-cultural impact of this pivotal era in music history.

“We’re all incredibly excited to welcome Jaxon back home to Philly and into the ALT 104.5 team,” said Mike Kaplan, Program Director for iHeartMedia Philadelphia. “He’s got a proven track record of captivating audiences and a pure desire for the music and all things Philadelphia. Welcome home Jaxon!”

Jaxon previously worked at WMMR FM and is also morning show host at iHeartMedia Washington D.C.’s Big 100.

ALT 104.5’s new weekday line-up:

·       Amber: 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. and 1- 3 p.m.

·       Jaxon: “Post-Modern Radio, 104.5” 12- 1 p.m.

·       Jessie: 3- 7 p.m.

·       Mike Jones: 7 p.m. – 12 a.m.
