Latto & BabyDrill Collaborate on "ISSA PARTY" (Track & Video) 2

Today, ATL-based Grammy-nominated rapper Latto links up with fellow ATL rapper and PDE Records signee BabyDrill release “ISSA PARTY” out now via RCA Records – click here to listen. The single also has an official video coming out at 12 p.m. ET tomorrow.

Directed by Shaq Gonzoe & James Rico, the colorful, fun video features Latto and Drill throwing it down in ATL with their friends, Latto’s sister Brooklyn Nicole and even her dog Coca. The visual is bright and playful with dancing and balloons, and you can even spot Latto’s Wingstop Meal collaboration. To celebrate this release, Latto is throwing an ATL party at the iconic Magic City strip club, renamed Latto City for this week’s release.

This release follows her hits “Put It On Da Floor” and the RIAA-certified Gold remix “Put It On Da Floor Again” featuring Cardi B. Debuted at Coachella Weekend 1 this year, “Put It On Da Floor,” produced by Go Grizzly (Future), Squat & Pooh Beatz (Jack Harlow), has garnered millions of streams worldwide across all platforms in addition to landing on multiple playlists including RapCaviar, Rap Life, New Music Daily and more – click here to listen/click here to watch. 

The track debuted #1 on Billboard’s Hot Trending Songs chart, was top 20 on TikTok’s Hot 50 US Chart and has received co-signs from artists like Lil Nas X, Yung Miami, Lizzo, Coco Jones, Meek Mill and more. The remix debuted at #13 on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart and #1 on the Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart – click here to listen/click here to watch. It’s explosive visual had Latto and Cardi B linking up in ATL in addition to cameos from Offset, BabyDrill, Angel Reese, and more.

Latto ended last year hitting the lotto –  she garnered two 2023 Grammy nominations for “Best New Artist” and “Melodic Rap Performance” for “Big Energy (Live)” in addition to winning awards for “Best New Artist” at the 2022 People’s Choice Awards and BET Awards. The three-time 2022 AMA nominee and four-time 2022 VMA nominee presented at both respective award shows and was announced with the honor of the “Breakthrough Artist” Award for the 2022 Variety Hitmakers. 

Latto was also honored with the “Powerhouse Award” at Billboard’s 2023 Women in Music Awards. Most recently, she won “Best Female Rap Artist” at the 2023 BET Awards and “Song of the Summer” for her collaboration with BTS’ Jung-Kook, “Seven,” at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards. The track debuted at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was #1 on the Global 200 chart for six weeks in a row, making it one of the longest runs for a track on that chart. 

Withover 1 billion streams worldwide across all platforms and accolades continuing to rack up from her success, it’s clear that Latto has set the stage to become a global superstar. The release of her hit RIAA-certified 3x Platinum single “Big Energy”in September 2021 has made Latto inescapable.

She went on to make history with the single as the first female rapper to ever have a #1 record at Pop, Rhythm and Urban Radio with the same single. Overall, she’s also the first female artist in 12 years to accomplish this feat, joining the company of Rihanna (“Rude Boy”), Alicia Keys (“No One”), Beyoncé (“Irreplaceable”), Mary J. Blige (“Be Without You”) and Mariah Carey (“We Belong Together”), the last five to previously achieve this. Latto just wrapped a summer festival run in Europe that included Wireless Festival (London), Roskilde Festival (Denmark), Rolling Loud Germanyand more. She also attended Milan Fashion Week where she went to various shows including Robert Cavalli, Etro, Blumarine, Diesel and GCDS. With the release of her latest singles and collaborations plus working on her next album, the next chapter of Latto’s career will havemore new music, more vibrant visuals and more big energy from The Biggest
