A murder suspect was found dead inside a Stop and Shop parking lot. The gunshot wound was apparently self-inflicted. The woman was reportedly involved in a triple murder-suicide that stretched across three different crime scenes. On Tuesday, the three men and woman died in Lynn, Massachusetts.

According to the Essex County District Attorney’s Office, all of the deceased were related.

Just before 3 p.m., Lynn Police Department officers responded to a call of shots fired at 98 Rockaway St. Essex District Attorney Jonathan Blodgett told WCVB. When police arrived, they discovered two men, ages 34 and 66, deceased. Apparently, they suffered from gunshot wounds.

One neighbor reportedly heard as many as 20 gunshots. Blodgett said a 31-year-old woman was identified as a potential suspect in the shootings.

Roughly a mile away, just before 4:30 pm, the female suspect was found dead in her car at the Stop and Shop parking lot. Officials ruled the woman’s cause of death to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Less than a half-mile from the Stop and Shop, police discovered the fourth victim dead in his car at 44 Laighton St. WHDH was informed by police sources that he was believed to have been murdered by the same suspect.

All four victims are believed to have had some relation to each other. However, their connection has not been released, Blodgett said. Pending family notification, the identities of the victims remain undisclosed by police.
