THE TALK Natalie Morales Open-Air Leap Into Las Vegas; Nate Burleson on Super Bowl LVIII

The Talk” kicks-off Super Bowl LVIII week with host Natalie Morales live from Las Vegas. In a special cold open, Morales leaps off The Strat hotel from over 800 feet into open-air above the Las Vegas strip at speeds topping 40 mph! Wayne Newton and two showgirls welcome Morales as she touches down on the landing pad. “I’m not going to lie, when I looked down all I saw was pavement, and I imagined what could happen. But I had the best time. When I got through it, I was like okay, that was fun. I actually went and did it a second time.” Morales goes on to show “The Talk’s” Vegas headquarters right off The Strip at the The Bellagio hotel, which includes a mini football field. Morales breaks down the scene including where the players are now. “They are behind closed doors. The 49ers and the Chiefs, they did arrive here yesterday. We saw their planes landing…we do expect to see them later today…we expect of course Travis Kelce is going to take a lot of questions about Taylor Swift. I imagine the press is going to hammer away there.”

Nate Burleson Talks Super Bowl LVIII, Super Slime + Super Couple Tay & Travis

Monday on “The Talk” Nate Burleson (CBS MORNINGS, THE NFL TODAY, NFL SLIMETIME, Super Bowl LVIII Live from Bikini Bottom) joins host Natalie Morales live from our Las Vegas stage to dish on all things Super Bowl LVIII. Burleson shares, “I’ve been to about six or seven [Super Bowls] now. You know, as a player, played 11 years and I never made it one, unfortunately. But as soon as I got into TV, I was like you know what? Every Super Bowl is my Super Bowl.” He adds, “Here’s my prediction, USHER will have the best halftime show of all time, okay.

Vegas will put on the best Super Bowl ever. Paramount, CBS, Nickelodeon will do their thing as we know. Now as far as the prediction, you gotta tune in right before the game, the NFL Today, baby…the outfit is a clue. I may wear red again, but you know, it’s the Chiefs and the 49ers.” Burleson goes on reveal what viewers can expect from the first ever alternate telecast of a Super Bowl on Nickelodeon. “We got enough slime to go around for everybody. We’re sliming the crowd, we might slime the players, and we already have agreements with four or five guys, they said if we win, we can slime them on the field. It’s going to be crazy. Nickelodeon is putting on a Super Bowl like never before, we have all types of elements, we have characters from Nickelodeon. We will be doing the game live from Bikini Bottom…you got everybody from the five-year-old to the 50-year-old, I guarantee this, if you tune into the Nickelodeon game, all respect to [Jim] Nantz and [Tony] Romo,  you might not turn back to them.” Burleson shares his take on the Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce hot romance and possible after game proposal. “It’s a love story for the ages, an absolute power couple…It’s the greatest proposal of all time.”

Teri was the last person to say, ‘Have a good one,’ we’d have a high five and I’d walk out. I miss them all so much, I really do. I don’t miss like the you know, doing of the show.  I feel like we really did everything we wanted to do. But I can’t tell you how much I miss being in a group of people who I just love so much.” Corden goes on to joke about how his parents feel about him returning home to the UK, “My parents are devastated that we’ve moved home. Because they just loved coming to Los Angeles so much.”
