THE TALK Tyrese Gibson on 'Bad Hombres' Villain Role

“We talkin’ about the window opportunity that you have – if you’re a comedic movie star, versus an action star, versus a dramatic star. When you do drama, you can do it until you’re 85.

When you’re a movie star, with box office, your window of opportunity is gonna be based on how long you can keep your muscles, how long you stay sexy and how long you can jump off of a burning building…Morgan Freeman can walk on a set right now at 85, sit down, and do a scene. Robert De Niro, it’s just never-ending.

So, I am looking at the dramatic thing. My first movie I ever did was ‘Baby Boy,’ you know, John Singleton, rest in peace, I went from ‘Baby Boy to ‘2 Fast 2 Furious’. It’s been such a blessing…every day feels like Christmas man.”

Tyrese Gibson opens up about returning to music after an eight-year absence with his double album ‘Beautiful Pain’ which was inspired by his divorce.

It’s a double album and the album is entitled ‘Beautiful Pain.’ I’m talking about how I was able to discover the beauty in my pain and so the first song that I would love for you all to listen to please is called ‘I Don’t Think You Ever Loved Me,’ L-O-V-E-D and I got Lenny Kravitz playing the guitar on it and he taped into his inner Purple Rain. It was crazy.”

Tyrese Gibson Reveals Extreme ‘phobia of owls’

During Friday’s episode of “The Talk” Tyrese Gibson takes “The Fast and The Curious” quiz and reveals the animal he’s most afraid of. “Bears and owls. I’ve never been to Hooters in my life, ever.

I can’t look at an image of an owl on a napkin, a necklace, or a logo. I have the most extreme random phobia of owls. It’s the craziest thing ever. Aaliyah had a music video, dust yourself off and ‘Try Again’, she had an owl in there. I’ve never seen the video again.”
