Witness Accounts
Witnesses described a chaotic scene, with one man, who works at a nearby Korean restaurant, recounting how people ran for safety as the shooting unfolded. Another witness working at the event described seeing people running into the store, shouting about the shooting.
Casualties and Investigation
Oakland police arrived promptly, finding one gunshot victim who later died at the hospital. Another victim arrived at a nearby hospital and is expected to recover. The police are still working to identify the shooter, and no arrests have been made.
Community Reaction
Family, friends, and fans gathered outside Glamour Beauty Supply on Sunday to pay tribute to Ten to God, many in tears. Bay Area rapper and philanthropist Mistah FAB, who was scheduled to attend the event, expressed his sorrow and shared memories of Ten to God, praising her drive and courage.
