During a rally at Brinkles Farm and Greenhouse, a man noticed a gunman crawling on the roof of a nearby building while former President Trump was speaking. The eyewitness, along with others, had gathered in the field near the trees to listen to the rally. Approximately 5 to 7 minutes into Trump’s speech, they observed the gunman, who was about 50 feet away.
Eyewitness Alert
The eyewitness described the gunman as crawling in a bear-like manner with a rifle clearly visible. They immediately pointed out the gunman to the police and Secret Service agents present. Despite their efforts to alert the authorities, it seemed the initial response was slow and uncoordinated. The police appeared confused, and the Secret Service agents, positioned on top of a barn, could not see the gunman due to the roof’s slope.
