A woman claims she lost her unborn baby after being beaten by three women. The alleged attackers have been charged, and two of them appeared in court.
Attack Details
According to the affidavit, the three suspects knew the victim was pregnant but still proceeded to attack her. On July 2nd, the victim notified Memphis Police that one of the suspects had informed her of an impending fight. Shortly after, the suspects arrived, and the assault began.
Nature of the Assault
The victim reported that the suspects punched her until she fell to the ground. Then, one suspect, identified as Leicester, began kicking her in the back and stomach while the third suspect recorded the incident.
Consequences of the Assault
The victim informed the police that she was three months pregnant at the time and provided documentation showing that she lost the baby three days after the fight.
Legal Proceedings
The two suspects who appeared in court could face up to 15 years in prison and a $10,000 fine if convicted of aggravated assault. The third suspect has a warrant out for her arrest and has not yet been booked. The District Attorney’s office reviewed the case facts and determined the probable charges.

The suspects are set to appear in court again on Monday. The victim and her family have been contacted for further comments, but no response has been received yet.
